Dear Potential Tinshop Buyer,
I am selling my shop because the quality of my tinsmithing is suffering from my health problems and are being aggravated by the work. further, I can only see hassles for my heirs dealing with all my stuff when that day comes.
This sale is for the tools, patterns, and remaining materials (parts, tinplate, wire, etc) or the shop as a whole. There is an inventory list below detailing what is included in the sale. There is also another file containing a revised copy of the Olson's Tinware catalog so that the potential buyer can see what the patterns make. The sale is for the entire contents as indicated on the inventory list and I am not interested in selling the shop piecemeal. There are approximately 90 photos that are cross referenced to the inventory list. The price is $29,168.00 or other offer I find acceptable.
I am certain there will be some errors, omissions and duplicates in the inventory and photographs.
Please contact me with any questions.
Thank you,
Jim Currens

Hello all,
Seems that when I converted the inventory list, the transfer process did not capture all of it. I have corrected that issue and the inventory list has been updated. |

Bob,
There are still some sections of the inventory that need correction.
The finger or box brake is 23" wide
The sub total for everything but bail ears is $28,362
When the bail ears are added in the total asking price is $29,168.
If a buyer does not want the entire shop he has the following options.1) He could buy the entire shop and resell those items he doesn't want, 2) he could form a cooperative with each member chipping in to meet the total price, then they could work on dividing up the tools and materials. Or, they could try to wait me out.
Thanks,
Jim Currens |
